It will gather the most talented young fashion designers, accessories designers and photographers from all over the world, and showcase their work in front of a prestigious audience made up of professionals, international press, opinon leaders, insiders, headhunters and more. ITS#EIGHT is here and it is calling out to you, young talent! We'll find you !
Are you a fabulous, fantastic, flamboyant, fresh, forward-thinking, footloose young fashion designer? ITS#EIGHT offers you a fashion competition to demonstrate your talent! Quick! Go to the Fashion section of our website and read the entry requirements to enter the competition! It is an opportunity you won't want to miss, and there are incredible prizes for the winners! Among these Diesel, the main partner of the Fashion field, offers you the opportunity to win �50,000 and the chance to do a 6-month internship with the Diesel Creative Team at its HQ in Italy! This time though, to win over Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, together with your collection you will have to submit a sketch of an outfit foreseeing the creative use of denim. Chose finalists will have to produce the denim-focused outfit, that will be presented at ITS#EIGHT on the catwalk!
Are you an ambitious, artistic, alternative, almighty, acrobatic accessories designer? Then ITS#EIGHT is the place for you! The Accessories competition of ITS is back thanks to its main partner YKK and promises to give your talent the space it deserves, with an incredible exhibition to showcase your work! Chose finalists will also have to produce an accessory focused on an original, innovative and creative use of YKK fastenings. The best accessory will be chosen by YKK and the winner will receive �10,000 plus the chance to have his/her work pictured in a professional promotional image for communication purposes around the world. And that's not all! Our new sponsor CRYSTALLIZE will give finalists the possibility of using CRYSTALLIZE —Swarovski Elements to all the finalists who will request it! Are you a phenomenal, peculiar, persuasive, perceptive, pivotal, poetic, poignant photographer with a powerful plethora of photos in your portfolio? If so, there is no better place than ITS#EIGHT to introduce yourself! The main partner of the photography field MINI is back this year challenging all young photographers with a new theme for their photo projects, "Originality". Those who present the most interesting interpretations of the theme will be invited to display their work during the July 2009 Finals of ITS#EIGHT and compete for the juicy prizes. A special project together with a renowned photographer awaits the winner of the MINI Clubman Photo Award. The online branch of the competition, ITS#PHOTOweb is back too. Deadline to enrol is 25 March 2009. Finalists will be chose on 16-17 (Fashion & Accessories) and 20-21 (Photography) April 2009. The finals of ITS#EIGHT will be on 10-11 July 2009.
